Privacy Policy

The short version: the apps have no accounts, and nothing you read, highlight, or write leaves your device except through your own iCloud. The free version shows ads served by Google, which collects some device information to do that. That is the whole list.
Who we are

What the apps store, and where
Your highlights, saved verses, notes, reading-plan progress, streak, settings, and last-read position are stored on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, the same data is stored in your iCloud account using Apple's key-value store so it can follow you to your other devices. That data is yours: it sits in your Apple account, and we have no access to it and no servers of our own. Deleting the app removes the local copy. Your iCloud copy can be removed from your device's iCloud settings.
The daily devotional and the Explain feature use Apple's on-device models on devices that support Apple Intelligence. The text is generated on the phone; nothing is sent to us or to a server for that purpose.
Advertising
The free version of each app shows a banner ad, served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google's software in the app may collect your device's advertising identifier (subject to your device settings), your IP address and the approximate location it implies, and information about the ads you see and tap. Google handles that data under its own privacy policy; see also how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
The apps do not ask for permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites, so ads are not personalized on that basis. You can limit ad personalization further in your device settings under Privacy & Security › Apple Advertising, and Privacy & Security › Tracking.
Buying Sanctuary Complete or Santuario Completo removes the ads, and the app stops loading Google's ad software.
Purchases
The one-time purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple's receipt is checked on the device to unlock what you bought.
Notifications
The daily reminder is optional and is scheduled on your device. No notification is sent from a server.
What we do not do
- No accounts, sign-in, or email collection in the app.
- No analytics or crash-reporting services of our own.
- No selling or sharing of personal information.
Children
The apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
This website
sanctuarybible.com is a static site with no accounts, cookies, or analytics. Cloudflare, which hosts it, may process standard request logs such as your IP address to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
